Purchased a 10,000 square foot commercial building with 1.75 acres of vacant land. Converted the building to 62 climate controlled self storage units, then constructed 240 conventional self-storage units from the ground up on the excess land. State-of-the-art facility with modern security features.
Survived through every possible challenge–steel prices doubling during construction, city adding on expensive requirements after the permit was issued, and the steepest economic downturn in modern history. Still managed to hang on and eventually sell, returning all capital to investors despite seemingly insurmountable challenges.
