Brian oversees the management of the firm’s portfolio of active funds for the opportunistic acquisition of single-family and multi-family residential properties in growth markets throughout the United States.
Over the course of a real estate investment career that began in 1989, Brian has consistently delivered attractive returns to his investors through a variety of market cycles. Investments range from single family homes to large multifamily apartment complexes in multiple states. The funds he manages have acquired over 700 properties – with the assistance of proprietary software that he wrote himself.
As a recognized expert in Distressed Real Estate Opportunities, Brian has been a frequent speaker at real estate forums and conferences; including the Opal Family Office & Private Wealth Management Forum, the Keiretsu Real Estate Forum and the Institute for Private Investors. He has also served as co-host and real estate expert on the Fox News Radio show, “The Best of Investing”.
A licensed California real estate broker, Brian is a member of the California Apartment Association, North Coast Rental Housing Association, National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and North Bay Association of Realtors.
Brian is married and has lived in Northern California for over 30 years. When not working to help Praxis clients build wealth, he can be found, literally, in the clouds. An avid aviation enthusiast, he is a licensed instrument-rated airplane and helicopter pilot.

Bob brings a wealth of experience as a real estate private equity professional to Praxis Capital, having over $1 billion of transactional experience. Sectors included Single and Multi-Family real estate, renewable energy and golf courses/resorts. He has been directly involved in the development of golf courses, single family homes and multi-family homes valued in excess of $50 million.
Prior to joining Praxis Capital, Bob was Managing Director for BTI Group, working with Private Equity groups in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He previously served as Director of Housing Development for PEP Housing where he was responsible for multifamily acquisition, entitlement, financing and construction management of multiple apartment properties.
He founded and served as President of Eagle Golf Corporation, a golf course and real estate consulting and development company where he successfully provided private equity for the development of multiple real estate projects throughout California. Before Eagle Golf, Bob formed the International Division for a large real estate company with sales in excess of $100 million, serving as its Managing Director. As a partner in a boutique investment banking firm, Bob specialized in the placement of private equity and M&A for high net worth individuals and pension fund investors. He began his career in the Wealth Management Division of Dean Witter Reynolds.
He has spoken at many real estate investment conferences and has served as a national instructor for a professional real estate designation program.
Bob currently holds a California Department of Real Estate license. He is a former series 7 & 66 securities licensee, Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate, Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS) and Certified Business Intermediary (CBI). He has served as a Director of National Cogeneration Corporation, a publicly traded corporation.
Serving on the boards of many local non-profit organizations, he has continuously given back to the community throughout his adult life. He coached youth athletics for almost 30 years, starting when he played baseball in college. He was also instrumental in helping a local non-profit affordable housing provider with the acquisition, entitlement, financing and construction of a $20 million affordable housing project for seniors and people with disabilities.
Bob and his wife, Linda, live in Novato and are both third generation Marinites. They are the proud parents of four beautiful children. Bob enjoys competitive outrigger canoe racing, golf, and strumming the ukulele.
